Meditation, mindfulness, TM or whatever you want to label it is here to stay. So writes Margaret Abrams of the Observer.
It seems like every day there is a new study coming out showing how meditation is beneficial for, well … everything!
I think the main reason is that our western culture hasn’t had methods to increase internal clarity and stability. Instead, we’ve become excellent creators of distractions, and more noise, that helps in increasing confusion and anxiety.
Now we are faced with a wave of ways to calm our mind, and people are feeling the results. Feeling happier and more relaxed every day, instead of just the weekends, sounds amazing to me!
Go ahead, cut the cord on confusion and embrace a you that doesn’t need anything to be happy.
