Our Story

Kathmandu Yogi is a Chicago-based social enterprise that produces limited edition yoga and meditation accessories, ethically made by artisans living in Nepal.

Our signature cushions and yoga bags are not only beautiful, well-made, and functional but also make a human impact. We want to connect you with the person who made your products and the place that they come from.

As a fair trade company, we are committed to the well-being, satisfaction, and personal development of all individuals, not just the ones that consume our products.

We work exclusively with trade partners that share these core values.

Kathmandu Yogi was founded with a strong wish that the company’s activities would benefit many, promote cultural exchange, and foster conscious development.

At Kathmandu Yogi, we make more than yoga bags, meditation cushions and prayer beads.
